IISG Secretariat holds cybersecurity consultations with Bosnia and Herzegovina governance structures
The IISG Secretariat held consultations with Bosnia and Herzegovina cybersecurity governance structures at the Regional Cooperation Council Headquarters in Sarajevo.
The meeting gathered representatives of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Government CERT, and the IISG Secretariat to discuss developments related to the Cybersecurity Pillar and the IISG Cybersecurity Database.
Discussions focused on regional cybersecurity coordination, donor complementarity, strategic planning, and updates related to identified cybersecurity and cybercrime-related needs within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Particular emphasis was placed on the ongoing outreach campaign launched by the IISG Secretariat in February 2026 to update cybersecurity needs, projects, implementation timelines, and institutional contact points across the Western Balkans.
The consultations also addressed the urgent need for operational and technical support for the newly established Government CERT premises, as well as expert support related to the draft Law on Protection of Critical Infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
